Toronto Smash (Formerly Toronto Re-Car Smash Repairs) was founded by Jeff Rose & Ernie Adam in February 1983, at premises on Awaba Rd, Toronto (Formerly Kennelly’s Garage).

Jeff & Ernie operated Smash Repairs and Towing from these premises until August 1987, when it was deemed necessary to locate to larger premises after occupying the workshop at Day St, Toronto for 11 years. In November 1992 the partnership between Jeff & Ernie dissolved with Jeff becoming Sole Owner of the business. In July 1998 the business purchased larger premises where we still operate from today at 1 Nicholson St, Toronto.

Toronto Smash has been servicing our community for over 30 Years by promoting satisfaction with quality, price and workmanship guarantees. At the end of 2020, Sheldon took over the business from Jeff and in 2023 rebranded from Toronto Re-Car to Toronto Smash, highlighting the core day-to-day business of Smash Repairs (both Private and Insurance).

The mainstay of the business is still Restorations and resprays though. With over 30 years of experience in the motor trade, Toronto Smash is capable of any size repairs from Motor Bike and small vehicles to buses and trucks. Whether it be a scratch, dent or minor damage to a full restoration, we can help.
